In language Arts, we did a project where we picked someone in the world that inspires us and write a poem about them. The poem had to include at least 7-8 lines of figurative language and it had to explain about the person and why they are important to you. Then we needed to create a video to show people our poem. I did my poem about Rebecca Soni. She is a six-time Olympic medalist in swimming. I chose her because she is not only a great swimmer, but her best stroke is the same as mine. In the poem, I included her achievements and how she inspires me.
